For brand new speakers of English - "zero" level!
After the teachers' guide for the Bible
Studies for New English Speakers was out a few years, I found that we needed introductory lessons for those students
at zero English level. There are 11 lessons that take approximately a year to
teach if you take about 4 sessions (once a week) for the students to master the vocabulary and concepts. These beginning lessons include many hands-on and activities that integrate with survival topics as well
(e.g. when studying numbers, we look up hymn numbers for practice.) No more than
9 new words are introduced in each lesson. It includes student readings in enlarged print and a word list.
